Introduction

Volunteerism is a community activity that involves individuals/ groups of volunteers who benefit others without the expectation of profit. With the development of science and technology, the earth is gradually being developed, and the trees have been cut down greatly. Many people are indifferent to the importance of plants& trees on earth. The Green for future event is a platform to awareness anyone especially youth on the importance of planting trees. Continuously share materials on the easy way to plant trees and gardening. Our aim is to let everyone interested in planting plants & trees for the future of the world.

Project Background

Green For Future is a project for everyone to promote awareness and expertise on the value of the environment and conservation. This project aimed to encourage the community to plant trees or plants around their house for the future world. The main idea of this project is that planting trees can improve the beauty of the surrounding area, minimize global warming, and can reduce the impact of climate change in their local area and around the world.

Green For Future objectives

1. To encourage the community to cultivate tree and plant growers

2. To build existing greening areas

3. To educate youth regarding the importance of planting trees & balancing nature for the future world.

4. To boost mental wellbeing, alleviate depression and promote recreational activities.

Expected Outcomes

1. At the end of this event, we assume that people start planting plants in their gardens.

2. To make sure that the community able to spend their time in a grateful way.

3. To create awareness among the community of the importance of planting during Covid-19 and expose some important knowledge of planting.

- Uploaded the first video on the website on the event page.

- The video title is “Green to Future Idea”

- Uploaded the second video titled “Impact for Me”.

- Benefit of planting 1 video uploaded

- Benefit of planting 2 video uploaded

- Types for plant video uploaded

- Tips for plant better video uploaded

Conclusion

Many people for sure will know to utilize their free time in a good way which is planting after joining the Green For Future Event. Our hope is to get a response from the community where they can share photos of planting that they had done. TealSapphire also had shared videos about planting and how to planting videos on our websites to give some knowledge to the community who has no exposure to planting activities. This event also raises public awareness about planting plants & trees.
